Potty Product Review: The Little Looster

Saturday, June 26, 2010

When Sawyer got interested in all things potty a few months ago, I thought we'd never potty train him because he was afraid of the toilet.  He hated the little potty, and is so small that the big toilet was really difficult for him to navigate.  So even though he was interested and could tell us before he was going to go, he had absolutely no interest in going ON the toilet.  Last week was his first time to go on the toilet, and it was great!  But still kind of hard for him to manage without falling in.  Until now.

Last week, I received a really cool potty product called The Little Looster for review.  You can see it here at the base of the toilet in our lovely staged photo.  Basically, it's a sturdy plastic stool, shaped to fit around the toilet and provide three-sided stability for the little ones.  It's PERFECT.

Since that first wobbly success, we've had a number of poops and pees on the toilet, all aided by the Little Looster.  It cleans off really well, being plastic, and in our potty adventures, we've definitely had to clean it off, if you get my drift.  I can also see it transitioning to a great boost for tooth brushing at the sink.  So if you are needing some help in potty training and helping your little ones feel confident on the big toilet, definitely give this product a try!

This one is just for review, sadly! The next post down for Snikiddy Snacks is the giveaway!

I am happy about your potty training success. Mackenzie did great for like 3-weeks around 19-months old and almost had no accidents, then on week 4 just decided she was done with the potty. We are potty training again, but she refuses to go on the potty about every other day and does awesome about every other day. Why? Who knows. I like this stool thing though.
